Our new addition to Main Street of Patchogue is an intimate cocktail lounge offering a menu of small plates. With its entrance just off Havens Avenue, this room is a space to relax, regale, and return.

From our bar, uniquely crafted cocktails, consciously curated wines and beer from near and far. From our kitchen, an inspired menu based on seasonality and responsibly sourced ingredients.

A pleasant experience from beginning to end. Entering the State Room began with a speakeasy vibe which was amazing. It was beautifully decoded and the food and drinks were delicious. What really stood out was service. Service was executed as if it’s fine dining but with a level of casualness which we loved. Server was very knowledgeable and truly showed a passion for the restaurant. I asked a question about the drink garnish which he answered but even another server on the side chimed in. Passion cannot be trained and the servers here definitely have it. Will be back for sure!!

We were very excited to try the Chef’s Tasting, as we heard great reviews from friends. The place is beautiful, but it was very crowded and extremely loud. Our waiter started off strong, explaining the dishes we were eating, but after the first 2 courses, it was difficult to get his attention and the dishes were dropped with no explanation, and we waited far too long for drinks after the first round. The waiter dropped my wife’s drink off at the table next to us, and tried to drop the dessert at their table as well. 3 out of the 6 courses were great, 2 were ok, but the dessert was inedible. I hope we caught them on a bad night, but for the price tag, it will be a while before we give it another try, if ever.

The State Room never fails to impress! We had the chef’s tasting, and it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish was exceptional, bursting with flavor and creativity. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and the ambiance is just the right balance of elegant and inviting. I can’t recommend this experience enough – it’s truly a must-try!

Another stellar evening at the State Room last night! The food is aces, not to mention beautiful. The three of us shared 5 different dishes and then indulged in 3 different desserts and cappuccino. EveryTHING was incredible — my fave was the bucatini and shrimp. We will be back again and again. Ps, we are giant fans of Shands as well!

Our server was AMAZING, super attentive and very helpful in making cocktail selections. We did the chefs tasting menu and were a bit disappointed by it for the cost but overall, a place we would go back for a drink and light bites.

Once again the State Room did not disappoint! The for was exceptionally delicious. The service was above and beyond. We brought friends this time and we had a wonderful evening.

We did the Chef’s 6 course meal and it was an amazing experience. The food are delicious. Staff are also amazing they make us very comfortable and so attentive to our needs. We will definitely go back there again !
