Located in the heart of downtown Stratford, steps away from the Avon Theatre, The Starlight is loved by locals & tourists alike. Listed as one of Air Canada’s 2024 Best New Restaurants, our menu crafted by chef Yva Santini is perfect for sharing pre/post theatre and is inspired by classic comforts with a modern twist. Our kitchen is open late 7 days a week to make sure you can dine at anytime. To drink: think ice cold martinis, bourbon sours on tap & fan fave house canned cocktails, hyper local craft beers & a small but mighty wine list focused on classic and organic styles. The vibe is motel chic meets mid-century modern and once night sets in the candles are lit and the room transforms .. think old school piano bar meets 70's lounge. We host live music featuring local musicians EVERY weekend. Saturdays are local good time bands, Sundays are musician focused folk, jazz, singer songwriter, & mondays pianists jingle the keys on the vintage piano. We can't wait to host you!

    We are fully booked for our NYE prefixe and show reservations! Please note we do have limited room for walk ins at the bar all evening and our lounge section available for the early seating for a party of up to 6ppl from 6pm - 8:30. Please message directly if you are interested in this last reservation. If you haven't pre booked your pre fixe or seafood tower we will still have our regular menu available all night& a limited number of prefixe specials a la carte on a first come first serve basis. The Starlight is the place to be NYE 2024!! We can't wait for you to join us!

                                  First the negatives: the booking process was atrocious; very challenging to navigate the NYE special and came across as rather restrictive. The “energetic” music was far too loud for pleasant conversation. However the positives outweighed these, the team service was very good and our server attentive. We ordered both NYE items and from their main menu and all was very good and we felt good value for our money. Happy to return in the future.

                                  I attended for a musical event and the ambiance was super. Service was fabulous even though they were very busy. Really nice cocktails.

                                  Great place for small plates to share . Food was excellent. Only thing is we received all our food at once and had requested otherwise but no big deal . Great atmosphere will be returning for sure.

                                  Everything was wonderful! Great vibes, beautiful decor. Loved all the small sharing plates, the orange wine I had was delicious and same with their house lager. Also, everything was super reasonably priced and good portions. 12/10 will be back!

                                  Fabulous night at Starlight! Service was fantastic and the food was exceptional. We did not know that it would be happy hour and with the music it was somewhat loud for 6 women to talk. We just talked louder! Great night! Check it out!
