Two NSB locals, Terrence Dever and Greg Gabringer, had a vision to create a new dining experience combining an eclectic menu with a comfortable atmosphere, all while providing patrons with a true taste of the area.

At the core of The Spott's culinary excellence is its dedicated kitchen team, led by Executive Chef Vaughn Metcalf. With a focus on quality and a relentless commitment to perfection, the kitchen staff embodies the ethos of The Spott, ensuring that every dish reflects the restaurant's dedication to excellence. Wow every bit of food I had there was incredible! Probably the best ribeye I ever had too. The service was fantastic and they gave these finishing touches with things that make it a step above the rest. Loved the fishing and lobstering videos too… gives it a true New Smyrna Beach vibe

2nd time eating there and it was just as delicious as the 1st. Yummy Fish bites, Hot Honey Shrimp, Caesar salad, Mac and cheese entree, Burger, Truffle fries. Cannot wait to go back!

As always, a great dinner and experience with 4 of our good friends. Chef makes some of the best soups I have ever tasted! Halibut was cooked perfectly as were the steaks the other 5 people in my party ordered. Our server was great, very attentive but not intrusive! All in all, another great evening at The Spott!

Food was absolutely delicious. The pork belly was perfectly complemented by the pickled vegetables. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic tasting and presented food with extremely fresh fish dinners, coupled with outstanding sides. We were delighted by a terrific team of servers. Owners also engaged in conversation presenting The Spot as a warm and friendly restaurant that was perfect for our Brother’s Weekend kick off dinner. Highly recommended by a friend in Orlando and now I know why. BTW…upstairs definitely worth a peak. Cheers!

We did not stay & eat on this visit. We have loved this restaurant since they opened because we could get a high-quality meal at a reasonable price AND keep up with the evening's football or baseball, etc., game at the same time. It was our idea of the perfect "sports bar" because of the fine dining and the game. They have apparently changed their format and no longer have televisions showing sports events. We were hoping to see the UCF-UF game and one of us felt seeing the game was more important than a fine dinner. However, even without the sports in the background it is still very noisy in the restaurant. Hope to return after the season ends. Food has always been excellent.
