Really lovely menu, explained clearly by very friendly staff. Beautifully presented and delicious. Loved the soufflé. Thank you for a memorable lunch.

The Smith provides a mixture of casual and more formal dining although formal is not "stuffy". We selected the shared plates with some excellent Shiraz. The service was impeccable; friendly and efficient. The Smith is a great venue and can satisfy most requirements right down to a few beers :) This follows on from a recent dinner for four with friends following the Hentley Farm wine dinner. At this we ordered a la carte and again everything was great.

The Smith was a great start to our evening. Dinner was very tasty and the service was excellent. Its a little expensive however relative to the area and the serving sizes are decent. Overall the dining experience was friendly with a warm atmosphere and great food. The night for us continued elsewhere however basic observation imposed a lively bar scene for people of all ages with a wide variety of beverages to choose from. I would definitiely recommend you stop in at The Smith Prahran.

Outstanding food. The chef's selection at $55 is the absolute best value for money. Very inventive and totally amazing flavor combinations. The place is a little noisy and the service is just OK at best. The staff are really friendly but badly trained. They topped up our glasses every sip, annoyingly over filling the glass to the brim (even when asked not to do so) and insisting on placing overly cold white wine in an ice bucket. Sounds small but for food of this quality it really lets the overall place down

Our waiter was simply on the ball. One diner was Vegan, nothing was a problem for him. Wine was great, food fantastic. Great ambiance. Loved the fact that we were not rushed and took as long as we wanted, 4 hours later! Would absolutely be back in a heartbeat for dinner. Nice not to have a boring menu!

The service and ambiance was amazing, Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with the food. The steaks tasted like leather and very fatty. Probably the worst steaks we have ever tasted.

Steve the Venue manager showed us to our table and then gave us a tour of the new area. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel special. Anita the restaurant manager was awesome . Her personality and knowledge was so exceptional that she also made us feel special. It was a fantastic night. Well done guys.

My evening at The Smith was filled with great food, service, conversation and music. From arrival to settling the account it was a pleasure. Our waiter was attentive and the kitchen excelled as our food was excellent as was the wine list. I highly recommend this venu.
