We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve and were very excited to be there, having traveled all the way from New York with our family for holiday dinner. We originally made a reservation for 8:30 PM, but we were called and informed that our reservation was moved to 7:30 PM. This was fine; however, they explained that the change was due to them closing early, yet we were assured we would still receive the full experience. Dinner was amazing, and the ambiance was great. However, when it came time to order dessert, we were told that we couldn’t because they would be closing soon, despite being previously assured of a full experience. This left us disappointed, as we didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy dessert or even take it with us. Aside from that, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We always have a delicious meal here. The meatballs are so good with your choice of sauce and pasta. The service was spot on. We will definitely go back!

I had the Lentil soup and a Caesar salad with anchovies. Both were delicious. They were accommodating me by making them Gluten Free. Prices were high, but the bakery is next door, so many desserts available. It would be nice to have more gluten free options.

Food and service was - as always - excellent. Lots of energy in the restaurant so it was a little challenging for our elderly family members to hear. Everyone had a wonderful evening, though. We will definitely be back for more celebrations as well as a few "just because" visits to the outside bar.

Prior to last year, this was a restaurant that we enjoyed a lot. Approximately a year ago, we were there just as they were introducing a new menu. Our meals were disappointing, then. My husband‘s meal was virtually inedible and it was prepared for him again. They were very polite and apologetic, but it was disappointing. We tried again today, a year later. We thought that time having passed, things might be back to their previous levels. Today our meatballs were overcooked, my polenta was only slightly warm and the amount of sauce served was skimpy. Our server, Nathan, did a great job and when he asked us, how things were, we told him as politely as we could. He was very gracious and very quickly brought us each a dessert as an apology. in fact, it was so automatic and quick it felt almost as if it was a usual procedure. It actually made us wonder how often they have complaints about the quality of the food. I will be watching reviews and hope to see things improve in which case we will give it another try.
