Chilled atmosphere with no restriction on how long you have the table for. Great food. Great log burner. Perfect winter retreat for food

Nice atmosphere and good service with friendly staff. Food was nicely presented and the starters were good ( bread and olives and pheasant samosas) Main courses not so good - the aubergine parmesan was just half an aubergine with a bit of tomato sauce and cheese - more of a starter really and definitely not parmegiana The ravioli was very garlicky Quite expensive at 19.95 The vegan desert tasted weird and not chocolatey enough

Restaurant quailty food from start to finish in a relaxed, welcoming environment with considerate and attentive staff. An excellent experience we will gladly repeat!

We had a small fish and chips which was delicious and just the right size for two pensioners and at a good price. Will be going back soon.

Roast was lovely. Very busy and got half the order's meat choice wrong to begin with but rectified.
