Beautiful restaurant with stunning Derwent River & vineyard views.
The original Shed was built on the Mt Nassau property in the early 1900's and met with it's demise in the 1967 bushfires. Built to replace the original Sheds were a Tractor and Shearing shed.
In 2021 work began on "The Shed" Restaurant which has been built in the exact same footprint as the original Sheds and some of the wood from the old Shed were used to make the table bases.
With our incredible head Chef Andrew Russell and our Restaurant Manager Jessica Johnson leading our team of wine and food experts, there is no better spot to sit and enjoy an amazing meal with awards winning wine.

Scrumptious lunch! The duck breast was delicious and the pear and apple salad that accompanied it was a delight. I highly recommend. Service was professional and considered. All in all, a wonderful experience, which I hope to repeat soon.

This was our first visit to the shed restaurant and we were very happy with the experience. The food was delicious and the meal size was perfect. The service was great even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Would highly recommend this Restaurant for a special occasion celebration.

We went for a birthday lunch. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The service was brilliant. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Lastly, the wine was fantastic. Definitely recommend a visit to The Shed.

Staff were wonderful and informative. Meal was full of flavour although meat just a little dry. We all enjoyed the experience and would return and recommend to family and friends.

This was such an amazing experience. We loved everything about it. The food that atmosphere it was just fantastic. Would recommend this to all of our friends and family. 10 out of 10.

A lovely setting and menu interesting but fish dish served with commercial pasta and very bland. The duck was apparently excellent. Sharing dishes mixed approval. Dessert sizes are so small that I was taken aback. Maybe I chose poorly but a friend who has a restaurant had said that the food is overpriced and sadly I have to agree.

Second time I have gone to the Shed in three weeks . Absolutely wonderful food and service. Fabulous wine. Lovely country views across the Derwent River.

Excellent food in a lovely location. On a very warm day it was airy and comfortable. The Derwent Pinot Gris quite delightful

Started our visit with a wine tasting in the lovely little cottage with several options (rooms or veranda) to sit. Main room had a lovely fire going which added a great ambiance 10/10 Lunch was at the Shed Restaurant at the winery Lovely light filled restaurant with views of the vines and the Derwent River. Food was delicious and beautifully presented Great service, food & wine 10/10
