Salted Melon offers South End residents and visitors a destination to start, spend, and end their day at this convenient and vibrant market and eatery!

At our counter, we serve up an 'all-day menu' of breakfast and lunch favorites, coffee items, and baked goods - morning, noon and night! You can also join us in our dining room for chef curated entrées, shareables, and hand-crafted cocktails, on Tuesdays-Saturdays from 4pm-10pm. We also offer seated brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm.

Don't forget - our market offers elevated convenience with gourmet groceries, fresh produce, and a vast offering of specialty items that will become your new favorites. We have a curated selection of beer and wine, as well as gift baskets that make the perfect host gift for any occasion!

Expensive and loud. I sat at a two top hoping to catch up with an old friend. We had to shout to hear each other. The acoustics are terrible. I considered ordering the brisket eggs Benedict, but the $24 price point seemed steep. I saw it delivered to another table, and while it did look good, I was glad I didn't spend the money. It was overpriced for the serving of beef that was provided. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It too was over priced. It had mild flavor and wasn't something I couldn't have made at home. Nothing special. Not bad, just not noteworthy. The market was interesting. Products that I have seen at Walmart though-- Frotera salsa? Great product, but not special, sold at Walmart. I did purchase some brown butter cookies. They were baked fresh and are delicious, but over $3 a cookie tracked for the over priced nature of the whole experience. Service was fine. I won't be back.

Wife and I wanted to try a new spot. We were very impressed. Mia our waitress was excellent. The whipped feta and Buffalo chicken bites started us off. Botg were very taste. Then had the short ribs over polenta, she had the arugula salad w/shrimp. The food came out with a nice presentation, smelled incredible, and hit every note i was looking for on this evening. We will be back to try the brunch when my brother in law arrives from California. See you soon!

This was my second visit to this location. After the first one a few months ago, I have been dying to get get back. But somehow, it seemed different. Might have been the time we arrived: 2:30 pm. I felt "rushed" and had 15 minutes after arriving to place my "usual" to-go order for the next day's meal. We also dines in, but it was like a "blur" due to the server needing to get us checked out before ending her shift at 3:00 pm! The food here is interesting and the "brunch" items are very tasty. For my next visit I will plan to arrive by 1:30!

Absolutely incredible. It was my birthday dinner with a party of 10, the staff were so friendly and seemed like they loved what they do. Best steak I’d ever had, absolutely phenomenal work all around, and I even ended up with a free cheesecake desert. This spot is truly a gem.

Went for brunch after hearing great things about it. I got the eggs brisket Benedict. Brisket was over cooked and dry, my poached egg was over cooked to the point that they were hard boiled and dry. The sauce was so think it was practically a dollop of mayo. Im not one to be picky or complain but the whole meal was very disappointing. Friend got a breakfast burrito that had barely anything in it other than the mass quantity of egg. Service and vibe were great, food could have been significantly better.
