Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

Great atmosphere. Met with a friendly greeting. Lovely staff and great service. Food was faultless and served brilliantly. Tasty and great value.

Went for Sunday lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. We could’ve asked for extra gravy and veg but didn’t need to as there was plenty. Can’t wait to go back in better weather and sit by the duck pond.

First time we've used you guys, food was nice, portions for Sunday lunch a bit small in my personal opinion and sides were expensive and very small for price but all was nicely cooked and tasty. Disappointed that there weren't a facility to heat my babies dinner up, the wine cooler full of hot water couldn't fit the bowl in and certainly wasn't safe with a young child and baby at the table so a bit disappointed with that. Ideally a proper baby change unit should be installed as well, im personally not that fussed as I'll happily change on any flat service but could definitely be improved. Staff very friendly and attentive. And a very nice pint of Guinness 👌🏼

My Meal of Blade of Beef Bourginon was delicious, my Daughter andMother in Law had Steak and Ale Pie which dreadful not home made no Ale taste in the Pie, a pukka pie has more flavour, such a shame for what was paid and somewhere I lunch with friends.

The food was, as always, absolutely lovely. 3 of us had the roast beef that was cooked to perfection. My only slight criticism was it wasn't hot. I understand they were very busy, but I'd of liked it hotter. Service was a bit slower than normal but again assume that was due to how busy they were, which does say a lot about the venue and what it offers.

The food was once again fantastic, we were a table of 7 booked last minute for 5:30 when the kitchen closes at 6pm and the roast dinner was still outstanding. The other food that we ordered was too of course. We love it here!
