The Romanesque Room is taking a stand against the State of California mandate to close outdoor dining. So we are opening as a "Peaceful Protest" we will require reservations only, we will take temperatures of all guests and employees upon arrival and follow very strict CDC guidelines to ensure safety for all. Made a reservation using OpenTable. Manager called back and offered a covid-19 Safe dining table indoors. We were the only ones in the banquet room. Service Ambiance Food all were excellent We enjoyed our experience dining safely

Quarantine has become a bit overwhelming for most. So to thoes who need a change of routine I would recommend anyone looking for a Romantic Dinner or just to eat outside other then your home this is the place for you. Delicious food not to say the environment and the Owners made it fabulous. #comeandsee #support

Had a wonderful holiday meal in a delightful Old Town Pasadena venue. The steak was exquisite, the service was excellent, Anne and Tony were the perfect hosts. Highly recommend.

We went here to celebrate my 9 year olds bday and they ruined his day! I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this was a truly horrible experience! Horrible service and food! They brought my 3 year old’s pasta after the entire table finished eating and she was crying out of hunger. Then her pasta was cold and not edible plus they charged me $18!!!! These people don’t know how to run a restaurant A truly upsetting experience! Waste of time and money! .

It was really good. The only thing is they do not have liquor license but the wine is complimentary so that works!

This restaurant provided a unique dining experience in a secluded outdoor dining location outside an historic building. The The grassy location provides a nice change of pace in our urban setting. The service was professional and friendly. The food was good. And the corkage was free.

Food was excellent. The location was a nice little carve out in the middle of Pasadena. However, the server acted as if it were their first night filling in for a friend. Sparse condiments and extras.

Thank you for your review, I am curious as to the sparse condiments, due to Covid-19 guidelines we definitely have less than normal but should of had anything normal available on request. They were under staffed, had to wait some time before they got to us . It was very cold outside and only half of the tables had a patio heater and unfortunately we did not. Had to request to be reseated with the patio heaters or bring us one. They brought us one.

Third time here and this time celebrated my Mom’s birthday. We ordered the beef tender wrapped asparagus for the table and devoured it, so flavorful! I had a huge New York Steak and Jumbo Shrimp Scampi paired with rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables! Like the appetizer, 3 of the 4 shrimps were gobbled up before I gathered my thoughts enough to think to take a picture. Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection and was seasoned beautifully. My Dad loved his burgundy steak and called it a “California Original.” Mom loved her filet and shrimp and finished it off with her favorite Chocolate Mousse. Our server Johnny was very personable, helpful and attentive. We love the Romanesque Room and know you will too!
