   We enjoyed red sangria and a regular margarita. The chicken avocado salad was excellent. The fra Diablo was vert tasty. So much food we took boxes home.

   River's Edge is a hidden gem on the bank of the Youghiogheny River. Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is unlike anything you can find within 30+ miles. Crab cakes were a special for lent and they were all lump crab meat with no filler. Pot roast is a favorite of our family and it is the only place you can order halibut unless you go to Pittsburgh. Overall experience is A+.

   Staff was very pleasant and courteous. Food was good. Beautiful backdrop with the river view. Will go again.

   Outstanding new eatery, had a table on the deck over looking the river. The big ahi salad was to die for, drinks were great..... definitely will be back

   I brought my sister for her birthday. We had a fabulous time. The crab bisque is not only the best bisque we had ever had, it was the best soup we had ever eaten. The bacon salad dressing is to die for. Our crab cakes, although very good, were barely warm. The carrot cake can easily feed 4 people and was delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Chris. We highly recommend and will be back.

   Restaurant was understaffed. Our server never brought us half our food and the manager took pennies off our bill.So disappointed as we brought friends here after raving about our last 2 visits. Will not return.

   Absolutely a must do! Since this is a new restaurant I hope they maintain their excellence! My new favorite!

   Wow! Loved every bit of this dinner! I was so excited when I heard of rivers edge opening in my hometown and couldn’t wait to try it. The chicken piccata immediately caught my eye on the menu and it absolutely did not disappoint. I savored every bit of it. The portion was very impressive as well with 2 thick chicken breasts, plenty of sauce and a generous portion of pasta with the perfect amount of capers. The asparagus with it was cooked to perfection. It wasn’t at all overdone but yet not a single piece was soggy either and also had a perfect char. The location with be so beautiful the warmer months and the interior is very modern. Our waitress was so nice and knowledgeable on the menu. She went above and beyond throughout our entire meal. The hostess was also very polite and made us feel welcomed immediately. Every point checked off with my hopes of this restaurant. Next time I may request to not sit at a table near the door there’s a draft but that’s the only constructive feedback I’d have.

   This was such a cute little higher end restaurant for the area it’s located. However, I got the salmon entree, and my husband got the fillet and unfortunately, I have to report that both were charged a little too much so we basically tasted charcoal while eating the meat. This was our first time going there and the ambience was very nice even though it was winter time. The decor on the tables was very nice. Hopefully they get a new chef or lower the heat on the oven or grill and let it cook for longer so it doesn’t char!
