Still the nicest Sunday lunch around. We took our 3mth old pup this time for his 1st restaurant visit. The staff were very kind and welcoming and helped make our experience with him very easy. He slept under the table, no fuss!

Lovely food and atmosphere. The host was amazing! Loved that there were games to play while waiting for food. Great choice of ciders. Would recommend :)

Food was quick and extremely tasty. The staff were really friendly and eager to help, plus you can get extra gravy.

Throughly enjoyable evening and meal. Staff were very polite, attentive but not overly. We weren’t rushed and felt very relaxed. We played games which were provided for children with our little boy whilst we waited for our food. Ambiance was perfect. Would highly recommend “The Rising Sun” for a meal out

Sunday lunch was beautiful , I had pork which was lovely , the dinner was massive and I still can’t move lol . Only thing I would say was not enough gravy even after I asked for more but will say the gravy was 10/10 , I certainly be back , bang on 👍👍
