Amazing dinner evening. The ambiance and decor is perfect. The cocktails were delicious. And the food was soooo good. Tried many small plates as well as the mains and dessert!

We went there on new years, now I get that it was new years but the restaurant was not busy! We asked several times for enough place settings for everyone in our party!!! After 45 mins our drink order s taken! Drinks came out about 40 mins later. So 1.5 hrs our food order was taken! 1 hr later our food came out and it was cold! The c waiter told us it was because they over sold reservations but it wasn’t busy! Then they forgot to put in our second drink order!!! It was a very poor experience! Would never consider going back!!!

Hi Veronica, we are very sorry to hear that your New Year's Eve dinner was disappointing. It sounds like there were a few factors that contributed to your experience not being up to standard. Our bar was definitely running behind and your wait times should never have been that long. Please note it was in fact a completely sold out restaurant, our highest cover count since opening in fact. Your reservation was booked for 4 people and then changed to 5 people right before arrival with a 6th person joining. Our booths are not set up to accommodate that large of a party, and it definitely impacted your experience. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and we truly hope you'll give us another chance to show you the level of service and dining experience we strive to provide.

This was our 1st experience at The Regular. We won't be going back. Food was OK, prices were expensive and a $75 service fee was added to the total cost. Our server, Michael, was very good, too bad that was the highlight of the evening. There were three in our party and we agreed this was a one timer.

Overall we were disappointed with our meal. It was overpriced for mediocre sharing plates. In particular, I was saddened by the Chupe. It looked like dishwater, and had about as much taste. The bread service that came with it was a poor attempt at baguette. The pictures online that we’d seen made the soup out to be a creamy serving of stew with a decent quantity of seafood, served with a beautiful baguette but that was sadly not the case. What arrived was a soup served in a small crock (typically used for French onion soup), a broth that was lacking, and a “baguette” that was a poorly toasted execution of a bread loaf. For $58 we expected so much more. The short rib, coming in at $52, was tasty, but a small serving for the price. The cocktails were tasty, and the service was good (unlike some of the reviews I’ve seen online). For the price, it was a miss. At that level we expected so much more.

Hi Tim, we are very sorry to hear you we're disappointed in your experience with us at The Regular. Please note, our Chupe as always been a broth based soup with no dairy or cream. While we have changed our plating for the dish, rest assured it absolutely as the same exact volume as our previous bowl we used. We take your feedback seriously regarding value and we do hope you give us another chance in the future.

This is a restaurant for foodies. Service was very attentive and engaging/fun. We had scallops (divine) duck(inventive), pasta (over priced),cauliflower (delicious) and the sphere for dessert. Drinks were good but $$$$. Dishes, glassware are beautiful. The evening was overall a great experience and very fun. The server even gave us a tour of the private dining areas. Incredible attention to detail in designing the space.

Such a fun new spot in town! Amazing food, drinks, vibe and service. Only complaint is for the prices the portions are a little small, especially for a restaurant that encourages family style shareable entrees. Nonetheless, would definitely recommend checking out.

It was a very nice dinner and the Peking duck was amazing. They pastas were good but expensive. It has a great ambience but very expensive. Be aware that they automatically charge a 20% service charge.
