The Red Lion Inn fue inaugurado en 1773 y goza de una excelente reputación por su soberbia comida y su genuina hospitalidad rural. Estas tradiciones las mantiene a día de hoy el jefe de cocina Brian J. Alberg, cuya gastronomía contemporánea hunde sus raíces en la historia y la cosecha de la región. Love the old-fashioned vibe of the Inn and dining areas. Service was very attentive. Food was simple. Flavors were good and ordinary, not amazing and unique. Ambiance made it very enjoyable.

We have dined here many times over the years and it has only gotten better. This is a regular stop for us in our travels and a New England inn in which we frequently stay.

Afternoon tea was great! We were seated in a private room (the dining room was also an option) and very much enjoyed the food. Food included 4 kinds of tea sandwiches, 2 kinds of scones, and multiple sweet treats. There was more than enough to satisfy us, and to fill 2 small containers with leftovers to take home. Loose-leaf tea was served in individual pots. A lovely way to spend an hour.

Our waiter was accommodating when we asked to be moved to a table next to a radiator - it was chilly. The food arrived in a timely manner and was as described.

Another great to the Red Lion. Had the fish n chips for first time and was very good. Make sure you ask for the tavern menu, you can order off it even in main dining room. My son loves the smash burger. Steak frites and duck also winners!! Hope to be back soon.

The filet mignon was the best I've ever tasted. Our waitress was attentive and recommended an excellent wine selection to complement the filet. The apple pie was incredible.
