Entering the bar area, it was very noisy and crowded. The dining is large and was not busy. The waitstaff and servers were not polished to put it politely and seemed to not know what they were doing. The food was ok/average and somewhat overpriced, but it was an airport hotel so expected. Overall it is very conveniently located just a 30 second walk from the Residence Inn, and there did not appear to be any other options aside from ordering food in.

The best option for dining at a JFK airport hotel. Surprisingly good food, and very pleasant bar staff to offset the (inevitably) high prices.

Calamari had way too much breading and overcooked. Salad was good but, hard to mess up a salad. Burger was average, nothing special for $22. Overall a decent meal but, nothing to rave about being in such a nice hotel and beautiful surroundings.

I had the House Salad with Grilled Shrimp. The meal was as good as it always is. But I the $12 upcharge for the shrimp is steep considering there were three of them (If I am remembering the upcharge correctly. I called The Quimby to inquire about the price for the purpose of this review. I waited a day. My call was not returned.)! I would have gotten more bang for my buck by ordering salmon or chicken. As she has been in the past, Aliyah took good care of me, checking up on me from when she had a moment. Of all the restaurants I frequent on a regular basis, she is my favorite server.

The House Salad with Salmon hit the spot tonight. The staff at The Quimby make you feel very welcome as I have dinner there when staying at the JFK Marriott. A shout out to Aliyah who always takes good care of me. She checks up on me regularly to see if I need anything.

We stayed at the Residence Inn across the parking lot from this restaurant, which is in the Marriott. It was convenient, so we chose not to venture too far from our hotel. The service was very good, thus the 3 stars. Our waiter, though very unpolished, was nice and friendly. The hostess was gracious and friendly, and the manager checked in a few times, too. The issue was the food. My husband had the seafood fra diavolo because he loves lobster. It comes with lobster, shrimp, and some other seafood (fish?). The lobster was either microwaved or very unfresh because it was literally paste. We've never seen anything like it. Not rubber, like it had been overcooked, or wiggly like it was undercooked, just mush. The waiter offered to replace it so my husband ordered the airline chicken. 10 minutes later, the waiter said it would be another 10-12 minutes. We decided we'd waited long enough. I had already finished my meal and my husband was frustrated with the whole experience, so we asked for the bill. This is why this isn't a 1 or 2 star review. The manager came over, told us he'd comped us the dish PLUS our glasses of wine. That was unexpected and showed a real level of service. THEN they gave us a free piece of cheesecake since they knew my husband must be hungry. It was delicious. Avoid the seafood pasta and you'll have a good meal. The staff will treat you right.

Back in Queens for business. Enjoyed the House Salad with Chicken. Everything related to my dining experience was excellent. Samantha, thank you for the draft beer samples!

I cannot go wrong with the House Salad with Salmon. Aliyah, thank you for draft beer samples and for checking up on me periodically. The IPA was tasty.
