The Pub @ EAV at 469 Flat Shoals Ave. SE, is a collaboration between owner Kasie Scott & Atlanta chef Mike LaSage. The bar and restaurant will feature a rotating, seasonal, shareable, à la carte menu of globally-inspired, creative, and delicious dishes served in a casual setting at an affordable price point. In addition to fostering a sense of community within the restaurant, The Pub aims to support the East Atlanta neighborhood by offering a special menu with a selection of dishes available at cost for guests to purchase for unhoused community members.
The Pub at EAV is centrally located at the top of the Flat Shoals Ave main street. The layout of the restaurant has maintained a traditional pub aesthetic while offering more comfortable seating for any party large or small. They were out of about everything. No okra app, no cauliflower app, no cheese spread app, no soup. The waiter wasn’t nice but didn’t state any of this when we were seated. Friend got the noodle dish and the noodles were dry and hard - like they’d been microwaved. I wanted the root gratin but the sous chef didn’t have time to prep it. They weren’t even busy. I finally ordered the burger and it was good. Sent back the noodles. Husband had the lomo saltido and he said it was good. Another friend had the smashed potato and it was black and hard.
