                My first experience at the Prescott was very poor. I had been looking forward to trying it. Upon arrival was not greeted for several minutes by anyone. No hostess or servers in sight. Diners were seated but I noticed no one seemed to have their food. After several minutes a lady came out and said “oh just sit anywhere” and walked away. Bemused we found a seat and proceeded to wait and wait and wait. The other diners still had not received any food during this time. Realizing that it was going to be quite an ordeal and not an enjoyable one to receive drinks, food or even a polite hello we got up and left…which by the way is not something we would typically do. I can only hope that this was an unusual day at the Prescott and not indicative of their normal service. This was Friday at lunch time.

                Only reason for 3 stars was the wait time from order taken to food delivery. Waited an hour for food. It was excellent but the wait hurt the experience.

                We’ve eaten there before so we kinda know what to expect. This was a completely different experience from the time we walked in the door something felt wrong. We had reservations but the hostess seemed confused on where to seat us. Once seated we were greeted by three different servers all introduced themselves and said that they would get us waters and bread (toast). After what seemed like 10min one of them returned and said they were waiting on clean glasses for our waters. After 30 minutes we finally placed our appetizers and still no drinks or bread. The food was delicious I had the stuffed salmon and my son had the sea bass. As we were finishing up we finally asked for some bread and what the desserts were. Now we’ve all heard of shrinkflation but the size of the dessert portions was ridiculous. To sum it all up. My martini was great the food was delicious. The service and desserts left a lot to be desired. One last thing who else hates it when you have to put paper products under the table leg to balance it out. This should not be happening at a restaurant like this.

                Food was good. Server was nice. Took forever to get food to table. This is 2nd time I've had this type of experience. Probably won't return.

                This restaurant is a gem. The food we ordered was very flavorful and perfectly prepared. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the decor and ambience. It was a perfect evening.

                Wish the service was a bit better. We had many gaps in timing during the meal. Food did not come out all at the same time. Many people were finishing up their meal and some didn’t have their meal yet with no word from our server. We only saw our server 2 times during the meal. Could’ve been better service!

                Food was fine, and the staff were nice and attentive, It just took so long to get our food. Arrived at 4:15, appetizer came out 1 hr later. Exactly at 5:09. Had to wait even longer for main dishes. There were kids in our party and they were hungry and restless. I would give it another chance. Hopefully they will have more staff in the future.
