Had Sunday lunch here today. Sorry, not up to the usual standard. Beef was a little tough, never had tough beef there before. Roast potatoes weren't up to the usual standard, very soggy and not crispy an all. We've been here numerous time before for Sunday lunch and sorry to ay this was not the best.

The food is always good here. We come back time and time again but the carvery was spectacular today!

We love the Plough and are never disappointed, the food, service and staff are always amazing. It's extremely good value for money and one of our favourites dinner!

Went to The Plough for our Christmas family meal out last night,there was 7 of us, we had the christmas set menu,so we had already pre ordered. We arrived about 7.20pm,we did have to wait a while to be seated,I then had to go to the bar to get someone to take our drink order,at about 8 o'clock, I asked if we could have our starters,but they came back to say they would be another 10 minutes,so because of the delay, they did offer us all a free drink,which was very good of them. We finally received our starters,and I have to say they were lovely,and so was the rest of the meal,which came out without any delays. So all in all,even though it was a slow start service wise,we had a great night and the food was amazing. They were very busy,so I totally understood regarding the wait. Will definitely be going back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Varied menu, pleasant service and huge portions! Will definitely be back. Thank you to the chef and our servers.

Super Sunday roast as always .. there was no sprouts so my husband asked for some and surly and amazingly they brought some out to our table well that’s what I call excellent service . The staff are brilliant very busy lunchtime for them but they did exceptionally well . Highly recommend this pub
