At The Pigs, good, honest food is served. You’ll feel the culinary heartbeat pumping through the pub at The Pigs. The dedicated team of chefs and staff work hard to ensure that the foodie roots remain firmly grounded. The food served is local, fresh, innovative, and always delicious. The establishment is family-friendly and a great place to eat and come to for celebrating special occasions.

This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

We're staying in one of the spa rooms so booked the restaurant and had Sunday dinner I had the pork it was so tender it melted in your mouth ! This is the best roast dinner we've had in ages The service was perfect the waiter was friendly efficient and helped me choose between 2 starters which were also really nice Id definitely recommend this restaurant and the rooms are also perfect !

“Amazing experience at Pigs! The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was full of flavor. The ambience was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. What truly sets this place apart, though, is how wonderfully pet-friendly it is. Our dogs were treated like royalty and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It’s rare to find a restaurant that caters so well to both humans and their furry companions. We’ll definitely be back soon!”

We have a lovely evening at the Pigs never had a bad meal there we live near by it really nice to bring friends and be confident that we will enjoy the food etc

Our first visit and unfortunately we were little disappointed after all the good reviews from friends we had heard. My husband had the flat iron steak off the specials menu which stated it was ONLY served rare. He checked with our sever on the potion size who said it was a decent sized cut. When it arrived, the steak was medium at best and underwhelmed with the plate portion. I had the cod and chips which looked impressive but the batter was thick and rock hard, had to leave it all. We did mention this to our server who passed on feedback to the kitchen and offered us more drinks but we were ready to leave at this point. Chocolate Brownies were yummy ...not sure if they were £9.25 yummy though! The bar and restaurant did look lovely, especially trimmed up for Christmas and doggie cuddles in the bar was lovely. We wouldn't be in a rush to return as we did feel like a number and not particularly welcome.
