Fire led modern European cooking, served in a warm vibrant dining room.

Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 6 guests. Bookings for January will open on the 1st of December at 10am. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

Our beautiful private room can host up to 16 for a meal, or up to 60 for a standing reception with canapés. Floor to ceiling windows flood the room with natural light, and the stunning original bar with decorative stained glass is a beautiful focal point.

We went for the roast and it was perfectly cooked. Service was also amazing and the waiters were really friendly and helpful.

The best roast dinner I’ve had to date, compliments to the chefs! Service as lovely too, it really makes a difference to the whole experience. I didn’t get his name but the waiter with long hair and the nose piercing deserves a shout out for being so attentive, and informative on the menu. Will most definitely be coming back.

Sharing sirloin was very good and cooked very well , sides were a bit cold for my liking ! Staff very good! Nice atmosphere! Good but no great !

Food is great. No complaints in this area, also prices are quite reasonable. I really like the place and on this visit it was buzzing. However, it is not my first time here and it always seems that service is slightly lacking. They sorted things out at the end and we were all very happy. But something to bare in mind.

Everything was good- the cocktails to start, the pickles and olives, the 3 small plates we ordered and the larger plate- which was actually rather a small portion, but delicious and we enjoyed it, not needing a side. Also good were the cheese and the dessert. Nice (but very efficient) relaxed service and atmosphere. Second time eating here and just as impressed with the quality of food and the friendliness of service as the first time. Lucky to be local, so will return soon (if we can get a table booked).

Great food, good wine, good service. A sense of pleasure in ingredients, cooking processes and novel combinations. If you are >50 and/or have reduced eyesight you’ll find it hard to read the menu as the room is very dark and the text is in a small font.

On a busy ,at the same time, nondescript street in Kentish Town, almost unnoticed, sits a hidden gem, Parakeet Pub. The pub is charming itself when you step through the door but venture furter in and you'll be pleasantly surprised by a beautiful dining room at the far end of the pub Yes, you've ventured in off Kentish Town High street and discovered another world of fine dining, fabulous food and charming helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I've been wanting to try the Parakeet for many months and so glad I did it! Probably one the best Sunday roasts in London - both the beef and chicken were cooked to perfection and the trimmings also. A delicious sticky toffee pudding to finish off an incredible meal! I will come back again and again and again!

Difficult to get a reservation the lamb was better than the beef . The overall food was very good . The restaurant part has a great ambiance
