Fire led modern European cooking, served in a warm vibrant dining room.


Reservations open on the 1st of each month for the following month, for groups up to 6 guests. Bookings for January will open on the 1st of December at 10am. For larger groups please email bookings@theparakeetpub.com. We serve our A la Carte menu Monday to Saturday, and Roasts on Sundays.

    Our beautiful private room can host up to 16 for a meal, or up to 60 for a standing reception with canapés. Floor to ceiling windows flood the room with natural light, and the stunning original bar with decorative stained glass is a beautiful focal point.

    Gorgeous experience start to finish. Every single member of staff made this a homely and welcoming lunch. As for the Sunday Roast, gravy packed full of flavour, delicious chicken and beef and a cauliflower cheese that is the real showstopper. Polished off with the infamously delicious chocolate mousse. 10s across the board for the Parakeet.

    This was the first time having the Sunday lunch after having tried their dinner and we were not disappointed. Excellent food and service. We will be back!

    excellent food and delightful service as always. a great combination of laid back atmosphere with tasty cooking. exactly what north London requires. waiting staff are very friendly and engaged. one mild criticism is the arrival/seating process which is rather disorganised - we were eventually seated 15 mins after our reservation time but even that needed a couple of gentle reminders

    We had a brilliant time at the parakeet the food was incredible, the service was great and overall a brilliant vibe. Will definitely be returning!

    We had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Our starters - olives and pickles were delicious. Our roasts were excellent apart from the lamb which was a bit fatty and sinewy so I had to leave some as I couldn’t chew it. A shame as it was delicious. Desserts were spot on too. The staff were great and we look forward to going back.

    Was very excited for this having booked a while in advance following Masterchef. Generally poor atmosphere, server attempting to take wine glasses before we had stated we were actually having wine for the table. Definitely some kind of prejudice involved that we had a baby with us, who was actually asleep at the table and disturbed no one. Would not return again. Food ok, but better can be found for a fraction of the price under more accommodating circumstances.
