At age the of 20, Chef Rafael moved with his wife to Cleveland, Ohio. His goal was to continue his Italian culinary skills which he acquired in the region of Verona, Italy.
Chef Rafael was introduced to the restaurant industry at a very young age. His grandmother was very well known for her home-cooked dishes. She loved having her grandson with her as she cooked meals as soon as he was able to walk. He was six years old when he first learned how to make homemade pasta and, by age 14, he was ready to embark on his own culinary journey. His first stop was Verona, Italy,which was the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The romantic and rich architectural heritage of Verona was matched by the great culinary venues of that city and Chef Rafael's experience and skills grew exponentially. Three years later, Chef Rafael traveled to Belgium and France where he then experienced cooking French cuisine as well.

Server very responsive. Food was delish. 3 of us got the house salad, beautiful, and the chicken marsala, tender tasty with string beans and roasted potatoes, also wonderful. One person got mussels and loved the sauce, and the appetizer with the rolled eggplant, very good.

A little off the beaten path but very nice place with excellent service and food. Will definitely be back!

the waiter was not very personable but he provided great service. also I absolutely hate hate hate the fake candles. I would love it if you had real candles, this would really ramp up the ambiance. the food was great!!

This may be the only restaurant where I saw the waiters and waitresses literally running to deliver food and get things.

We went for our anniversary. The meal was exceptional - I had the Osso Bucco and my wife had the Halibut Special and they were both delicious. Our waiter Josey (sp) was entertaining and attentive. This is one of my favorite restaurants.
