It was a lovely time out at the old jailhouse, food was perfect, staff was kind and helpful. we had the chicken gnocchi for our main and it was big enough to share between two people! The creme brûlée was perfect way to finish the meal. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area again!

We had the shrimp skewers with mashed potatoes, a steak sandwich which was so big, he had leftovers, chicken, and gnocchi. Food was good. Server was not very attentive, so we had to flag her down several times. The building is really an old jail with the bars and cells still there. It wasn’t very crowded, so noise level was very low.

Always my go to for dinner when hanging in Sanford. We all enjoyed our meals and the delicious apple pie dessert. Service was perfect. It's not easy dealing with a large group but we had no issues. I had the steak which is always good. Never disappoints.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience and would come back again. Food was very good, would love to see more GF options. It was a busy night and service was slow…although the food did not take long to come out. I’d rather slow service, than to feel rushed.

It was a cool spot. Though the food offered were odd choices on the menu. So there were two gnocchi items on the menu. Then there was a beef and pasta dish that was mac and cheese tossed with steak. It just seemed odd to me. There was only one steak entree.

The service was exceptional, and the desserts—particularly the hot chocolate cake and cheesecake—were outstanding. However, finding a restaurant that truly masters steak preparation remains a challenge. Despite this, I would certainly return.
