    My favorite brunch spot in northern Bergen County. The food is always solid and the service professional. The space has a nice ambiance and parking is never a problem. It's also a great place to go with a group of family or friends.

    Every Wednesday at The Oak House is made better by Chris and Chasity behind the bar! Chris is not only incredibly charming and easy to talk to, but he’s also dedicated to providing top-notch service. He always makes sure drinks are perfect and is great at reading the room, making guests feel comfortable and valued. Chasity, on the other hand, is a powerhouse. She’s hardworking, focused, and always on top of everything, ensuring that things run smoothly no matter how busy it gets. Both of them go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Their energy, attention to detail, and genuine care for their customers really make them stand out, and it’s clear they love what they do. We’re regulars for a reason—they’re amazing at their jobs, and The Oak House is lucky to have them!

    Food was very good. Unfortunately we sat in the back room And it was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. The poor older lady at the table next to us had to put her hands over her ears. If we return, we will ask to sit in the front of the restaurant towards the entrance.

    Food was excellent! The Prime Rib special on Monday was amazing and honestly perfect for 2 people. It came with salad and tiramisu which was to die for. The wings, truffle fries and spinach and artichoke dip were fabulous. Service was slow on a Monday night. Nothing terrible to complain about. Will be coming back and telling our friends!

    Always a great experience. Can be tough for a date during peak hours because of how loud the main dining room is. Incredible food.

    Oak House never disappoints. Great food and service and the perfect place to gather with family or friends.

    Drinks: dirty martinis, secret garden, critic cab: excellent. Luke the goat cheese filled olives, nice twist. Appetizers: house made guacamole, excellent. Margarita Pizza: excellent crust, too much cheese not enough sauce and it wasn't a fresh mozzarella cheese. Entrees: ribs: excellent as well as the house made Cole slaw. Short rib: very Good. Ambiance: very different depending on where you sit. If you like a lot of noise sit in the back room. It's quieter as you move towards the front of the restaurant. We sat in front room at a hi-top and enjoyed it.

    Service is impeccable. This place could be a michelin rated restaurant as the service was performed. The valet understood I wanted to park somewhere and accomodated us. The hostess told us we didn't want to sit where they had us set to sit because of a lot of noise in that area. This was surprising. This was concern and setbup an alternative. You don't see such service in a local kind of place. The service from the server/waiter was impeccable. Patrick was a true server as far as serving us, the customer. Made sure I tasted the beer I was unsure of, through out the night. Just on top of his game. Overall, the service in this place would be worth going even if the food wasn't good BUT it is good. This is a local restaurant servicing real nice people as real nice people. I will frequent =his place
