Leading Nantucket’s thriving restaurant scene, The Nautilus (est. 2014) is an island staple built on the idea of a shared social experience. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 shareables (fried calamari and grilled pork riblets.) The calamari was delicious - excellent even, but the riblets were good not great. Delicious sauce but meat was a little dry; not juicy like I've enjoyed them at other establishments. We shared blue crab fried rice (exquisite) but not an overly large portion, crying tiger skirt steak ( which is small chunks of tender beef in a salad) . This dish was very good, but we were a little confused by the description in the menu and didn't actually realize it was a salad. Sort of awkward to share.... We also ordered the Schezuan dandan noodles which were very flavorful and had plenty of pork. The sauce was deliciously sweet/tangy/spicy. The highlight of the meal was the cranberry/pumpkin bread pudding with a dollop of fresh cream on top. Not sickeningly sweet, but so delicious even though it would've been better served warm. The service was excellent and our sodas were kept refilled all night ! The meal was 220.00 which was pricey but definitely in line with other Nantucket dining. A great experience but not quite up to the hype this place receives.

Absolutely incredible experience at Nautilus on Nantucket! Every dish was a burst of flavor. We started with the Shishito peppers, which were perfectly charred and seasoned, making for an amazing appetizer. The crab fried rice was sensational—generously packed with sweet, tender crab and seasoned to perfection. But the real star of the night was the duck feast. The presentation was stunning, and the duck was crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. The variety of accompaniments made each bite a new experience. Service was friendly and attentive. Can’t recommend it enough! Five stars!

Never disappoints. We return time after time for the food of course but also because they understand hospitality and appreciating their guests. Absolutely love Nautilus.
