This was my first experience there. We had chosen a place more local for a friends birthday brunch..Once we were inside, the temperature in our dining area was cold. Everybody was trying to walk away from the table to get somewhere warmer, which didn’t make sense to me. I had made a reservation for eight for a birthday brunch. It was disappointing to me that the people involved needed to try to seek warmth. In fairness to one of the lovely ladies tried to help us they did elevate the temperatures. It just did not accommodate our space and nobody was warm. Once the bill came, I divided equally and needed all the cards charged for X amount of dollars and our server said it couldn’t be done as the system would not allow it which didn’t make sense to me . when there are group events, we all pay by cards separately. There were menu items that were not served like classic eggs. Benedict had to have runny eggs that it was not. They were practically solid yolks not the norm.

This place never disappoints, the staff, food and cocktails are unmatched. The formula in place by this micro restaurant group is truly unique. If you’re looking for an amazing meal at a great value definitely find your way to The Marker.

This is the second time I have gone to the Marker and each time it exceeds the quality of food and service. Bravo to the chef and owners and staff.

The Marker needs a little decor, in my opinion. It is a large room with grey walls which have no adornment. The meals were great, but they could definitely use more servers.

Upon arrival- 7:15 reservation-we were escorted to a table by the window-to the left of us was a party of a dozen people to the right of us was another birthday party. The noise was overwhelming-to the point I couldn’t hear my friend next to me. We asked to move to a corner table and it seemed that our food order was delayed/forgotten. (We noticed a table that was seated after us received their food before we got our entrees)-overall it was a disappointing experience. I am a fan of the restaurants in the group but The Marker has some kinks that need to be worked out for sure! Surprised that the manager didn’t acknowledge our experience. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Service was very attentive. I will return again . This is a gem!!
