The ambiance was fantastic! The food was good and our server Kris was GREAT! My only issue is the Hostesses were a little rude and ignoring people. Will come back though!

We had a wonderful time with our family celebrating our anniversary. The only negative was the slow start. We arrived on time, and our table wasn't ready for 45 minutes. Then we were taken to a table that was too small for our party even though they had the right number for the reservation and there were many empty tables around. We all got a little cranky. But the service and food fixed it all.

Celebrated two high school graduations for my son and niece we had a party of eleven and had a great dinner wonderful evening did not feel rushed and enjoyed the entire dining experience. great service and food.

Ambiance was great;however, when the sun goes down it is cold and the outdoor heater by us kept going out. Food was average as was the service. I would like to give this restaurant another try during brunch or lunch. Fun locations and definitely kid friendly.

This place is gorgeous, kid friendly, yet trendy to spend with a group of friends. But I feel the service is slow and somewhat disorganized. I have brought relatives from out of town twice in hopes of wowing them with this hidden gem in Los Angeles, only to be embarrassed by the poor service and the quality of the food. We were told we had to order from the brunch menu, and it was 2pm. Furthermore, the menu had a lunch menus tucked under the brunch menus that we could not order from. The food lacks in taste, creativity and presentation. It certainly does not match the price. I would be a loyal client and put up with the slow and disorganized service if it wasn't for the food, which is absolutely nothing special in my opinion.

My daughter requested this for her after graduation lunch, I was skeptical after reading bad reviews on Yelp but since she really liked the place, we made reservations. I was pleasantly surprised, service was excellent, shout out to Kailey our server. They food was good too. Loved my Cobb salad. Everyone was happy with their meal. We tried everything from burgers, fried chicken sandwich, , chili, steak salad, chopped salad with shrimp, (large shrimp but the salad wasn't chopped) And everyone was happy with food. The server explain that there was a new chef and she was a relatively new server. So I am glad management listen to criticism. And lots of games for kids and adults to play. And wonderful live music We will be back.

Reservations were on spot. I was a bit worried because reviews on Yelp were not very agreeable. I can tell you they were ALL WRONG... Food was delicious ...from the burger to the short rib...lots of delicious cocktails....and even catered to my request to change the spirit to Vodka. My 73y/o mother and 78y/o aunt both had a fabulous time. My only complaint would be that my aunts soup came at the same time as her entree. Since it is outdoor seating there is no way that she could have kept both dishes hot...however we did request that soup be taken back and brought back hot after she finished her entree. Other then thing...waiter was wonderful, attentive, menu was varied, dessert was delicious...and we will be coming back.

Loved Malibu Cafe! Definitely make a reservation in advance - they book up fast and the wait averages two hours. There are 3 bars throughout though if you do have to wait for a table. It is also dog friendly!

The service started out great but fell off as the night went on. They never cleared our dishes after we were done eating and took a very long time to get our check. Also, they stuck us in the back when they had plenty of room to place us by the other tables and near the fire pits and heat lamps.
