   Fabulous experience, beautiful food. Teas were fab but it would have been nice to have the tea pots, as it felt like we were waiting on drinks a bit.. but overall a wonderful experience

   Lovely afternoon would recommend to all, beautiful room, gorgeous food and fabulous staff - nothing not to like. A rel treat!

   The quality of the food was very bad ! So expensive for what it was. So disappointing!!! I I would never recommend this place know and love Afternoon Teas and this one was the worse

   Insisted we had to order 3 afternoon teas, even though 1 tea is enough amongst 3 people. Insisted on using outdated payment device even though it wouldnt work with multiple cards and brought us a new version of the payment device only when we insisted which worked. Tea menu indicated there were macaroons, but they were macarons.

   Service was excellent; lovely setting; delicious tea and champagne; however, champagne prices were not worth it and scones were somewhat dry.

    Overall we had a hugely disappointing afternoon in the Shelbourne. The afternoon tea is vastly over rated and absolutely not worth the price. We booked a 5pm sitting and our whole tea, but in particular the sandwiches, had clearly been sitting in the fridge all day. They were cold and dry on arrival to our table. The scones and a couple of the deserts were inedible. The staff also began to clear the room around us which made us very uncomfortable. On the plus side, the setting and the staff were lovely.
