   Cool beachy place for casual drink night. Not as well suited for more formal dinner. Food was pretty good although octopus was tough and shrimp overcooked, the barrata and ceviche were really good. Would go back for a very casual meal. Service was good!!!

   It was really good. We had oysters, ceviche, the pork rib app and the chopped salad to start. All were really tasty. For entrees we had grouper(delicious but kinda small portion, maybe 4oz), scallops and a NY steak. Again all were really nice. For dessert we enjoyed the coconut creme brulee, the cookie skillet and the guava cheesecake. Even though we cleaned the plates, the desserts were average. The service was very good and the room is very nice. Overall 8/10. We'll be back.

   We enjoyed the lively, festive atmosphere at The Longboard. When we arrived for our 8:30 PM reservation our table was not ready due to other guests not leaving. The manager handled the situation in such a professional manner - apologizing for the delay and asking if another table would be okay. All was great - service, food, drinks. We will be back!

   Sar at the Bar and the Bartender kept leaving for long stretches of time. Food and everything else was great.

   Beautifully located, charming restaurant. Parking can be challenging. We were the first customers of the day, so it was quiet. The host and the wait staff were funny, kind and friendly… knowledgeable too. The food was well presented; the chef’s hot sauce is amazing and the wide variety of drinks is a good start to a day.

   The staff, especially the hostess were super friendly and hospitable! Parking was a BIG hassle. So give yourself some time and patience. The food was outstanding- Our server was good- but she took a very long time to take our order and fill waters etc. The Food was outstanding! The ceviche, breakfast burger, wood grilled avocado bowl, breakfast fried rice and Mainlander breakfast were ALL OUTSTANDING! The noise level inside was kind of crazy due to bachelorette gatherings- try to get the porch if possible.

   Food was great! Small Portions and a bit pricey. When I asked the hostess about getting a table, she said there are no reservations available and the wait was going to be an hour even though there were six tables open. I put my name in and left and went on OpenTable and found a reservation for 30 minutes later and booked it and when I came back, none of the tables had people sitting at them.

   I agree with other reviewers that the food was lacking in flavor and inventiveness. Nothing special to go back for, unfortunately. Service was ok; food came fast but it was really disappointing in flavor, that’s for sure. They need to revisit their menu items and re-configure their flavors.

    This was our second time visiting The Longboard, and the first time we had visited during Oyster Happy Hour (3-5pm on Sunday for this visit). Please note they have a limited menu during OHH, with an emphasis on oysters ($24/dozen during OHH) and other raw bar items. We (party of 3) shared The Longboard, which includes oysters, shrimp, smoked fish dip, tuna poke and ceviche (sheepshead in this case). We had 3 specialty cocktails: Pear Pressure, Sullivan's 1040, and Sol...something lol. All were good and $10 each. The service, food and drinks were all excellent, and I highly recommend The Longboard - we will be going back again soon!
