When we took over The Legal Eagle, we inherited some of the glorious features, and the building really spoke to us of old-fashioned pub-grub. We looked to the old traditions of pickles, roasts, meaty joints & braises and knew we should honour our traditional lexicon of producers where possible and also allow our guests to enjoy a lighter style of dining.

We make our own crisps, croqueta, our own Scotch eggs (they're really delish), and supporting our burgeoning salumi and farmhouse cheese industry with platters of cold cuts. We are smoking our own spuds and have a local vegetable grower growing to our needs !

We are crazy about beer, whiskey and gin but wine is where we started and it remains a driving force for us. We have a stellar cocktail and wine list written with love and care

We have an ever so slightly more formal dining room upstairs, which is also great for events, weddings, private parties and get-togethers and hugely popular with industry folk. Can't wait to see all!

Excelente experiencia. Local encantador y elegante. Servicio y atención del personal inmejorable. Tés magníficos y algunos exclusivos. Tanto comida dulce como salada a un gran nivel. Se pueden repetir sándwiches. Imprescindible en Dublín

A lovely Sunday lunch with a full plate served with extra gravy. The food was lovely and the portion was very generous. I had been eyeing up the dessert menu but was so full I didn't have any room left. The staff were very friendly without being pushy and the decor was warm and welcoming. The yorkie was a little overdone for my taste but the roasties were beautifully crispy and done perfectly.

Lovely Sunday lunch, croquettes starter was very tasty and the pork belly main was great. Unsure of Yorkshire pudding, but over all terrific. Guinness to great too.

Simply splendid! Kate and Sara were so friendly, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was cozy and warm on a cold Dublin night. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived our host Stephen made us feel so welcome. We never felt rushed and we had drinks and the lovely Sunday roast. He was really careful when one of our party ordered the nut roast to check if they were vegetarian or vegan. Food was delicious and we shared some deserts too. Would highly recommend for a really enjoyable and relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Sunday lunch, we had the beef and pork and shared homemade crisps to begin. Absolutely first rate. Plenty to eat, couldn’t manage a desert unfortunately! Delicious food, great service. Helpful with the wine list and friendly. Great experience, thank you.
