The Lampery, is an all-day dining spot providing good, honest cooking in the heart of historic London. Inspired by our patron, Samuel Pepys, the restaurant delivers a passion for authentic cooking and locally-sourced produce. Located within Apex City of London Hotel, the restaurant serves a menu that celebrates the diverse and eclectic mix that British cuisine is today.

No one wants to spend the big day in the kitchen so let us do the hard work. Spend Christmas making cherished memories with family and friends. We’ve created the perfect home away from home for you to enjoy a delicious dinner before relaxing with loved ones. First seating is between 12:30 -15:00 and second seating is between 17:30 - 20:00 A member of the team will be in contact for full pre-payment, to be paid 7 days after booking was made. If payment is not received your booking will automatically be released. All payments are non-refundable & non-transferrable. Note - a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your final bill on the day.

For a start the steak came out followed by the sides around 5 to 10 minutes later and then the remaining sides another five minutes after so the steaks were very cold by the time we actually eat at them. The staff were very good but let down by the kitchen. Although we had complimentary drinks at the end of the meal to apologise, a mouse ran through the centre of the restaurant around the time we decided to leave.

The food and service were excellent. Superceded our expectations. Was a little noisy due to a private event at the bar area, but it was also after 9:30pm on a Saturday.

Food good but despite the online menu suggesting a 2 course lunch menu we were not offered it. Irrespective the service was efficient, polite and the food very good.

Lovely restaurant. Tables well spaced for privacy and decor nice. Service was good. Had the mango, prawn salad which was delicious.

Dined here while on vacation. The restaurant itself is well decorated and kept. The menu was limited, not a good option for families. I had a salad, it was fresh, but small for an entree. My husband had the burger which he described as passable. Overall, the food did not live up to the atmosphere of the restaurant.
