Located on the shoreline of Deer Creek Reservoir, the warm and contemporary ambiance paired with the locally focused cuisine provides a casual yet upscale dining experience unlike any other in the state. We pride ourselves in supporting local businesses and showcasing the incredible meat, produce, liquors, and beers the state of Utah has to offer.
Our mission has always been to provide a true “multi-sensory” experience. We accomplish that not only by highlighting our location but by providing dishes that have stories attached to them.

we have a reservation for 7 but arrived 45 early. we were promptly seated anyway which i really appreciated. i ordered nye menu and husband ordered the steak with side of bone marrow mash potatoes but we started with their spinach dip. i ll go in order. spinach dip was beyond delicious. my order started with butternut squash soup which was absolutely incredible. then came salad which was kale with feta cheese, charge cranberries (i believe) and vinaigrette dressing. it had some toppings which i wasn't sure about it looked like different nuts so i asked the server that refills water and clears plates of the table not our main waitress. he said i don't know and when i was about to ask if he can ask someone he said let me ask - i am allergic to tree nuts and didnt see anything on the menu but it s better to ask. he left and perhaps forgot about it but soon remembered and the person who showed us to our table initially came over and inspected my bowl of salad leaning over it little too close and nervously laughed and says he he is not sure what's on it. regardless he took it back and brought it back saying they are sunflower seeds and type of quinoa. i would have expected that all the server staff are closely familiar with the menu and ready to answer any questions. anyway new salad. not sure if it was new or they just took out the seeds had much less feta and cranberries on it and almost no dressing. i did appreciate that the food was well spaced out although we waited for the main course for a bit longer i would like. my husbands steak came with mac n cheese which was quite cool and dry so our server took it back to reheat in the oven and brought it back when we were almost done with our meal. the mash potatoes were great and warm. my husbands steak was delicious. mine was medium rear and i wasn't fan but it is what i asked. it came with lobster tail which was disappointing. dry and rubbery and cold as well. i ate it, didnt want to make fuss. overall nice place

We had an absolutely delightful family dinner experience on New Year’s eve. In spite of being packed, the attentive service provided by Andrew was outstanding. We stayed with the a la carte selections instead of the tempting set menu and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and of particular merit were the sautéed cauliflower, the croquettes, the 6oz filet au poivre, and the tenderloin, all of which we enjoyed very much.

Had dined there once years ago and enjoyed it then. Sadly, the food was terrible on this visit. Appetizers and entrees were all way off the mark. Odd flavor combos, overcooked fish… just a disappointing experience from start to finish.

Our view of the lake was perfect! We booked an early dinner so we could watch the December day close on the lake with the mountain backdrop. The waiter was very attentive. My water glass was refilled very quickly. Our wedge salad was savory and crisp. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. The cheesecake topped off our meal! My husband and I had time to enjoy conversation with each other. We live in Orem and have driven by this restaurant dozens of time over the years. I am glad we finally came! We will definitely be back!

This place gives you an experience like no other. The service is top notch, they don’t rush you in or out and make you feel like family. The food is fresh and perfectly cooked to perfection. We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary that visit and it was our first time there. Our kind server was so attentive and worked at our pace. My husband had the braised short ribs rigatoni and I had the sweet chili pork loin. I would highly recommend both. Portions are also plentiful we didn’t have room for their delicious so find deserts. But that’s just just an option for next time. We can’t wait to go back and try other options on their menu. We want to try them on a warm summer night on their patio with a view of Deer Creek.

Of course the time to get a view from the Lakehouse is summer when the sky is lit. Unfortunately we dined during winter and couldn't see the lake at all however, the ambiance of the room was terrific and the food was excellent. Above all the service and particularly Andrew were terrific. We will dine there again and again.
