Welcome to our famous wood panelled dining room where you can enjoy a variety of dishes carefully prepared by the experienced award winning Chefs. Inspired by a love of modern British food, the menus are built with a unique variety using the best quality produce & ingredients, much of which is locally sourced.

Whether you join us for lunch or dinner our lavishly designed lounges offer an ambient, restful space to relax, unwind and look forward to the sumptuous dining experience and are perfect for enjoying the sea views.

Our Table D’Hote menu is served Monday to Friday midday until 2.30pm with evening service from 6.30pm until 9pm and Sunday 4.pm until 7pm. Our beautifully crafted A La Carte menu is served every Saturday from Midday – 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 9pm. Our famous Sunday lunch service is from midday until 4pm.

Food and value of food excellent , staff very friendly. Wine was ordered but not delivered until asked. Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was busy. Drinks are expensive. Would I go again or recommend absolutely.

Regrettably service was extremely slow…we were left waiting in the bar far too long and then food took too long to arrive…we booked for 6pm and the main course only arrived just before 7pm. Dessert was far too heavy with meringue that was too hard and topped with way too much cream.

Booked a table here for a date night for me & my partner. Requested a window table which we were presented with after a 30 minute wait. We both had the set menu in which the food was delicious. I'm gluten free and had reasonable choice options. Friendly staff, nice ambience, our only niggle was the extortionate prices for the drinks, bottle of wine average £30+ and a pint & half of draught cider for £10.

firstly we were waiting a while to be served with a drink, was told to leave our coats in the lounge area n that they would put them in the cloak room but when we had finished our meal we went to the cloak room to get our coats but they were no way to be seen so we went to the lounge area n they were still there, luckily my husband had taken all his belongings out of his pockets, now lets talk about the meal. firstly we had a starter n nothing to say it was nice, we bith chose rib eye steak which was £27 each, the steak was small was no taste to it whats so ever, small tin of soggy chips 4 small tomatoes on the vine n a flat mushroom m a small jug of sauce, then they fetched us sprouts n carrots which we never asked for, didnt even touvh them, a side salad wpuld of been better, the bill came to £94 paid by cash n they never even came to fetch the change back, we had to ask for it, normally we do tip nut not on this occasion, we were very disappointed ss it was my birthday treat, we shall definitely not be going back n will never recommend the Kingsway

Excellent atmosphere. Staff were impeccable and food was fabulous. Great value on the three courses for £32 on a Saturday evening.
