The stately looking former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers an unforgettable dinning experience alongside a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats using innovative and modern cooking techniques. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. The 4 guest bedrooms offer stylish relaxing ensuite accommodation, perfect for a special getaway, overnight stay or weekend break (dog friendly).

Food was very mediocre - I had mushroom risotto which didn’t have much flavour, same for the burger apparently. Steak was chewy but the mussels were very good as was the smoke mackerel pate and carrot and coriander soup.

It’s a regular venue for us as it ALWAYS delivers. We’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff are always attentive and personal, the food choice is always brilliant especially the specials and always something for everyone. Lovely ambience, log burner in the winter and brilliant beer garden in the summer. Will be back again soon.

lovely venue with good beer and wine and nice staff; just a shame the food didn’t match this, nor our expectations; overall pretty average with one main replaced due to being overcooked. A shame.

The setting was lovely, a cosy table for two plus our Irish Setter on the floor, who was made very welcome. The restaurant has plenty of seating but is set out in a way that creates individual space. The food was delicious and we felt really cared for by staff, especially when my husband explained his dietary needs. The portions were just right, the meat was so tender and the sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and clotted cream just melted in our mouths. We hope to visit again soon.

Lovely meal - lots of choice with fresh ingredients. Food was delicious, catering for all different tastes and dietary requirements.

The Kings Head is our favourite place for Sunday roast. Delicious food, friendly helpful staff and lovely fire in the winter.

This is a really lovely venue, large parking area and very welcoming on arrival. The bar area is nice and cosy and on the night we were there, there were a few locals which made it buzzy! The food for me was just OK. I had some chicken with vegetables and it was unfortunately really bland. My partner had the steak and he thought it was great. Service was very good. I would definitely go back to try another dish.
