   From arriving (30 mins early) until we left ( last ones out) everything & everyone was spot on , couldn’t ask for better hosts & choice of food , we were a group of 4 , Because we were early ( by choice) there was time to go into the snug food & enjoy a drink & chat whilst waiting Wood fully recommend The Kings Head & we will be back soon

   Very small portions for the cost and food very average. Waiter was good but waitress was grumpy and we waited a while to be served. Play park was very basic and kids were bored within a couple of minutes .

   After reading about the kings head in a magazine and seeing photos I had high expectations! The menu on paper looked very good and lots of choice and some nice looking things on the specials board. 1 of us ordered the lamb main on the normal menu and very disappointed when it arrived, it was 2 slices of lamb, with I think pea-shoots some peas and a little jus.. was told it was a special cut of lamb from kings lynn and it was delivered to them sliced like that, very unusual. Certainly not worth £29 I had the steak £32.. again a sirloin which looked very thin, flat, and some French fries which some were burnt and to be honest not particularly hot. The chimichurri that was with the dish smothered all over the steak, maybe best on the side of the dish as if you were trying this for the 1st time, didn’t like it then your steak is ruined. The wine was nice. Appreciate the small discount but wouldn’t rush back after our visit.

   Surprisingly good food. Portions modest rather than huge. Good range of choice on menu. Pleasant and efficient food service. Spacious, helped by a quiet night in Norfolk.

   Never fails to serve up a great meal from quality local ingredients. Dogs are welcome too which is a bonus.

    A lovely pub reasonably close to home, friendly welcoming service from the staff. The food was excellent we couldn’t fault it but a lovely engaging server/waitress. The only thing we found surprising was that it was reasonably quiet on a Thursday night, which surprised us to be honest not that I’m complaining.
