Fresh and in season is our motto, and we are proud to have a close working relationship with our very own organic family farm; Stow Park - just 8 miles from The Kings Head Inn!

    Excellent. Went on valentines night and the fillet steak was fantastic as was the French rose!

    Received a very polite welcome, the menu and specials were explained to us, food presented attractively and the hosts asked if everything was to our liking, which it was.

    We have eaten there on several occasions and it’s always been good but Sunday lunch today was exceptional. The quality of the lamb and the vegetables was fabulous and the quantity was perfect. We will be back.

    Beautiful food and fantastic service. Roast dinners a little overpriced especially if you have children. Very understanding and accommodating with my son who has special needs. A lovely restaurant all in all.

    Sunday roast was decent but that’s about all. Arrived & table not ready. Left waiting for half an hour & had to chase our table. No one seemed to know. Eventually seated but told half the roast options weren’t available. Menu is fairly limited anyway. Service was slow and not once asked for drinks whilst sat down . Food arrived & got order wrong. When we did eventually eat the roasts were good although at £24 they should be. The fish & chips was pretty average.Loads of staff but it just appeared to be very chaotic with no organisation. So little attention at a pub/restaurant which is supposed to be relatively high end. And £11 for a desert . Enough said. Overall a bit of a letdown.
