                                                                                                The food was good but the value was not there. Overpriced and lack of food for what we got. Service was good and no issues with it, but left hungry and it should not happen for $145 for 2 people

                                                                                                Waited for 20 minutes at the table without any acknowledgment or water. Had to stop a waiter to get him to let our server know. Appy came quickly and was good. Had to wait for a long time for our mains. Got them 1 hour 15 minutes after we originally sat down and while the place was almost empty. After our first couple of bites, we were asked if we wanted any dessert because the kitchen was closing. Apart from the standard checks after we got our appy and mains, we never got asked if we needed anything, had to waive to get a water refill and never got a second. Mains tasted good, although one steak that was ordered medium was medium well at best. Paying $80 per person for food, we expected more. Nothing like our previous experiences there.

                                                                                                We had a lovely meal on Valentine’s Day. Our food came out hot and quick for how busy the restaurant was. Our server was a little odd. Strange comments were made to my partner and I. Nothing rude, but strange. Calling themselves the best server to then say they were very clumsy and came up to the table multiple times to stand and stare. At one point they came up, didn’t say anything, then stated “that wasn’t an answer to my question”. My partner and I were very confused by their behaviour. Overall a great meal as always, but have had better servers in the past.

                                                                                                Fantastic meal taking my wife out on Valentine’s Day. The service and food were good. I really enjoy getting the kegs steaks done Chicago style. I also enjoy their escargot and bread. The one thing that was a big disappointment for me. I had made the reservation a month or so in advance and it was Valentine’s Day, but they didn’t seat us in the dining room. They took us into the lounge? I had booked a table for two in the dining room, but they said this was the only one they would have available anytime soon? I didn’t like the table we were sat at in the lounge either, and the chairs had felt on them and you could see a lot of food crumbs all over them. Poor start but the food was tasty.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the booth as requested but it was busy Valentines so can understand somewhat. Service was prompt even with a packed house and the food was great as always. I recommend this restaurant.

                                                                                                I booked last minute and we had to sit at the bar and we were a little disappointed at first but it was my fault for reserving last minute. However we had a great time watching how different drinks are made and the service was amazing. Food was superb as always!
