                                                                                                The Peterborough location used to be excellent, our past experience was terrible. We made reservations, when we showed up we waited 10 minutes past our time. Our wait staff seemed to be in a hurry every time they came by. I ordered a Guinness and it was 3/4 poured and she took the rest. We waited quite a while to get our meal. Our reservation was at 430 and we didn’t leave until 650. It was my wife me and our 6 year old son. I was looking forward to treating her for her birthday, and we were very disappointed. There was something wrong with the heating system as well, were extremely hot during our visit.

                                                                                                Our server (Sara) was amazing! The only issue we had was the bartender. He has zero experience. Twice (only because I refused the first one)he put a martini in a Champagne glass and used his hands to pick up ice only after I requested it. I asked for a chocolate martini for my wife (who was using the restroom) and he served it in a champagne glass with no ice or chocolate on top. I asked about the ice and glass and he went to the bar, poured it in the proper glass and picked up the ice with his hand and placed it in the glass. He brought it over and I asked him about the cholated peels that are usually on it as any other Keg and he said "we don't do the chocolate thing". When my wife returned from the washroom, I let her know there was no chocolate and he had picked up the ice with his hand. She chose to not consume it and request a new drink. The bartender then makes another drink for her and again pours it into a champagne glass with no ice and served us. I again asked about why he is not using a martini glass and no ice. He then brought it back to the bar and poured it into the proper glass and used the scoop to put ice in to the glass. Once again, our server and meal was amazing which made up for the lack of bar service. Just thought you might want to know about the lack of experience the bartender has. If you would like to watch the cameras, we were in at approx 3:45 - 4 pm on Saturday the 8th of March.

Asked for a private booth and they delivered us a sweet corner booth which could seat 6 people. The Keg has recently been renovated last year and is gorgeous Food as always top notch Will be back again & again

                                                                                                The Keg Peterborough is a lovely spot for dinner. We always sit in the bar area. Which has comfy chairs and a fireplace. Service is excellent as is the food.

                                                                                                The food was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend escargot starter and the teriyaki steak with double baked potato!! The atmosphere and service was a 10!!
