                                                                                                We usually go to the keg for our anniversary as well as birthdays. So we go about three times a year. I always pre book reservations at least a couple weeks in advance. My note is always no full booth as we are larger people and their booth can be on the smaller side. When we went yesterday she said they didn’t have any half booth but only a high top. It was extremely uncomfortable. It was too loud that my husband and I could barely talk. The waiters had to squish between the people at the bar and the tables.

                                                                                                Unfortunately, the steak I ordered was very undercooked. However, that was a problem that was easily solved. Our waiter appeared to be quite disinterested in the tables that he was serving. Very rarely came to check on us. We had quite a few minutes before having to ask another server to have him come so that we could look at the dessert, menu and order coffee. It was my companion’s birthday, and we did expect some kind of recognition as we had specifically come there to celebrate her birthday.

                                                                                                The last few years of going to the keg in Langley my experience was not great. They were definitely going downhill. I received a gift card for Christmas so gave them another try. I was blown away with the experience this time. Food was excellent, both are steaks were cooked to perfection and the excellent service from our waiter was very much appreciated. The keg definitely redeemed themselves from my great experience this time. I hope it continues.

                                                                                                The steak quality is hit and mess at this keg. Sometimes it’s good last evening. It was very dry. Both my wife and I had the fillet. They need to improve the quality of beef. Was there a couple of months ago and a steak was much too. Makes me wonder whether I’ll go back or not. We have been regular customers over the years.

                                                                                                Normally I would give this restaurant a higher rating, however on this occasion I discovered a hair in my burger. Honestly I would never think this would happen at The Keg restaurant of all places! They did remake my burger & took it off our bill, but still, not something you want to discover in your meal. Hence the lower rating on this occasion.

                                                                                                We sat in the lounge during Happy Hour. It was great. Our food was really good. Next time we will share since it was too much. Our waitress was a lovely girl. Very friendly

                                                                                                Both ordered 8oz steak with mash potatoes and asparagus. Mash was flavorless, asparagus no seasoning just tasted boiled. Wasn't greatest to eat. Our server was amazing though. His name was Calvin. Great server. Just food wasn't greatest
