We started in the lounge as we were early and happy hour was on in the lounge (too bad happy hour doesn’t apply to the dining room). The lounge bartender was outstanding! We then went to the dining room for our son’s birthday celebration. The waiter was very professional and attentive! Salad was good. Beets were a nice addition to the usual veggies accompanying the steak meals. 3 of us had steak and unfortunately my steak was a bit chewing with some gristle, but the other 2 steak meals were great. All were nicely seasoned. The mash potatoes were great as usual. My husband had the chicken which he said was tasty but he said he was disappointed it said it was blackened but he didn’t feel like it presented that way, so just thought he got something different than he expected. One person had the salmon which was great as usual, but hard to believe it is actually more expensive than a top sirloin 6 oz. Overall most dishes were very tasty. I would just say that the prices have increased to a point where you have to think about whether it is really worth the price or not. But we will no doubt be back!

Table of 6 girls celebrating our friends 40th birthday. Out of 6 girls, one order was correct. Steaks were under cooked, missing side dishes and orders weren’t paid attention to in the kitchen Kieran was very accommodating with extra bread and quick on the drinks and was quick to help the situation, but in the end we were completely overcharged for items that were supposed to be included in the items we ordered. Pricing in the menu and the cheques were completely different. It was the first experience at the Keg Windemere it was very disappointing as I haven’t had problems any of the other locations in the city. It was a nice environment, and the food came out quick from the kitchen, but after appetizers it wasn’t the greatest experience with the food.

We enjoyed our food and our servers attention very much. We were celebrating our birthdays and my husband's retirement. We made our reservation well in advance. We would have liked a quiet corner table. It was so busy we ended up being served in the lounge. It was noisy and in the middle of the room. We are both introverts. Anyway, the restaurant should complete planning better for seating and reservations. Not the best experience for something I planned out.

We wanted to celebrate a career milestone with a wonderful meal so we went to our favourite Keg❤️ Kara was our server again and she was her usual fantastic self!! Our food was top notch, steaks cooked perfectly, our favourite Stags Leap wine AND Kara surprised us with Billy Miner Pie for dessert! Thank you so very much for a great evening!!

Great experience in the Windermere location, it seemed quieter than the others - but we were early to arrive. Great service (Gabby) and food. Highly recommend the new Yorkshire Pudding starter.

I am glad to have an opportunity to post a review. The Keg is a steak house and that was the reason we went there. My sirloin Oscar was hard as old boots. I thought there was something wrong with my knife but eating the steak was difficult. It was properly cooked and the sides were very well done. Our server did not come back to check if all was well and I would have mentioned my issue at that time. So the steak itself was inferior.

As always, the keg did not disappoint. Food was fantastic as was the service. My only issue with the keg as always is that it is a bit dark and the noise level is a little louder, but not too bad.
