                                                                                                Tercera vez que como en un restaurante The Keg, sin duda sus fuertes son los cortes, en particular tal vez este sea el que menos me ha gustado el ambiente es un poco oscuro y algo encerrado. SIn embargo su cocina es muy buena y el servicio que ofrecen los meseros extraordinario.

                                                                                                All good , staff extremely friendly and efficient - only complaint is half our group ordered prime rib and they had to tell us it was sold out.

                                                                                                I last visited the Keg in Banff 17yrs ago and was keen to take my teenage son for a steak after I had such a great experience. Unfortunately the past did not repeat. The food was ok at best, but the steaks were the worst I’ve had in a long time, to the point my son only ate a mouthful of his and left his $57 steak. A real shame.

                                                                                                My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here last night. The service was great. Food was delicious. And we even got a free dessert for our anniversary! Server recommended a sweet treat shot after dinner that was delicious as well! We will be back

                                                                                                I ordered the classic prime rib - medium rare on Saturday February 15/25. When it was delivered to the table, it was totally rare. I sent it back and when it was delivered back to the table, it was well done. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said that was the best they could do and this was done in the oven. I told her this was unacceptable and she turned around and left our table. In addition, the condiments for my baked potato were now missing. The waitress never did return to our table nor could we see her to flag her down until it was time to settle the bill. We told her we were not happy with my dinner and she did not comment - just took our money and left the table. We have been to the Keg in many locations and this is the first time we were totally unsatisfied with our experience.

                                                                                                We always prefer and extremely enjoy the Keg over any other steakhouses. This visit my wife ordered the Keg Classic New York strip, server omitted the wedge salad and kitchen forgot the sautéed mushrooms. I always rave about the confit skin on blackened chicken, I received a underwhelming plain chicken fillet.

                                                                                                We recently dined at The Keg and, unfortunately, our experience was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Upon arrival, the hostess did not greet us warmly, which set a disappointing tone. It felt as if she wasn’t engaged or interested in welcoming guests. However, our server was the complete opposite—she was polite, attentive, and provided great service throughout our meal. As for the food, we were not fully satisfied with any of the dishes we ordered. The mushroom rice lacked flavor, the French onion soup had an unexpected taste reminiscent of pizza, and the 8 oz teriyaki sirloin did not have the distinct teriyaki flavor we anticipated. Instead, the steak and vegetables tasted salty and slightly sour. I opted not to use the sauce provided, hoping to enjoy the natural taste of the beef, but it did not meet expectations. The ambiance was another downside. The dining area felt overly dark, with dim lighting, dark walls, dark furniture, and dark carpeting, which created a somewhat uninviting and gloomy atmosphere. Overall, while the service from our waitress was excellent, the food and ambiance left much to be desired. We hope the restaurant considers improvements in these areas to enhance the dining experience for future guests.
