   Our server couldn’t have been better, he was excellent. Everything about the experience was very good, no complaints.

   Saturday 29th March, I spent £185.57 taking my mother out to celebrate Mother's Day, starting with a bottle of wine at £51.00. When you don't know how much time you have left together, every opportunity to celebrate our closeness matters. Service was courteous but disappointingly slow and that is highly irritating because it does take the edge off the occasion. On reflection I shouldn't have paid the full service charge, if at all.    Food was good and consistent as is the case with The Ivy, but the service was poor. We had a table of 7 and slow to take drinks orders, forgot bottles of wine on two occasions and so didn’t quite hit the standards you’d expect for any restaurant, let alone The Ivy.

    Rubbish experience food came slow starter was missed off of all the stars no explanation for why was missed off two of the five main courses were called not one person came over to ask how they were when we asked for this to be removed from the bill, it’s a little bit dismissive and a bit rude won’t be returning. There was no one in the restaurant no excuse for the service not the quality of the food.
