Saturday 29th March, I spent £185.57 taking my mother out to celebrate Mother's Day, starting with a bottle of wine at £51.00. When you don't know how much time you have left together, every opportunity to celebrate our closeness matters. Service was courteous but disappointingly slow and that is highly irritating because it does take the edge off the occasion. On reflection I shouldn't have paid the full service charge, if at all. It's a great restaurant, in many ways the best in Leeds, but ...

Rubbish experience food came slow starter was missed off of all the stars no explanation for why was missed off two of the five main courses were called not one person came over to ask how they were when we asked for this to be removed from the bill, it’s a little bit dismissive and a bit rude won’t be returning. There was no one in the restaurant no excuse for the service not the quality of the food.

I never feel welcome when I visit. Asking for a drink often feels like I'm inconveniencing the staff. I've been to this location several times, and each time I tell myself, "never again" because it's always disappointing. I can confidently say I will not return. During my last visit, I had one drink with my afternoon tea, but there was no service at all. I continuously tried to get the attention of the staff, but to no avail.

I'm struggling to find a reservation that matches your visit details, and I'm keen to try any understand where we fell short.
