Nos ha encantado este restaurante, la decoración es preciosa y el ambiente da muy buena vibra por lo que nos hemos sentido muy cómodos. El servicio desde que entras al restaurante es muy atento, cercano y profesional. La comida nos ha gustado mucho , todo estaba riquísimo , y la relación calidad precio es buena . Hemos probado los clásicos fish and chips que estaban increíbles , la Chicken Milanese deliciosa,pan recién horneado acompañado de mantequilla, los tortellini de ternera asada una pasada y la cerveza denomina ivy ( tercio) que la sirven en jarras heladas también estupenda . Hemos sido dos personas y la verdad que nos ah resultado abundante y delicioso. Repetiremos cuando volvamos a Oxford , si estás por allí merece la pena .

The restaurant was extremely hot and I had to go outside twice just to cool down and go back in. The crème brûlée was clearly left out for a long time before it was served as the sugar that is supposed to be crispy was just soft and like jelly. The whole thing was room temp. A grill main should come with a side. Paid £28 for a sirloin and it didn’t come with a single side, the fat wasn’t even rendered. It was very tasty but frying the fat side a bit is chef 101. Also the bottled water wasn’t even chilled. That’s not all to say it wasn’t nice, it was a lovely meal. The pomegranate and spiced pear Bellinis were amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I’ve ever had. But when you’re paying all that money, you’d expect the basic chilled water, included sides, and normal structure of a standard crème brûlée. Also just putting a glass dome over a dessert for no reason doesn’t make it fancy, it was just unnecessary.

We appreciate your comments on the crème brûlée, steak, and water, and I’ve shared them with our team to improve where needed. Our grill menu allows guests to choose sides, but I understand this may not have been clear. I truly appreciate your balanced review and hope to welcome you back for an even better experience.

Amazing 5⭐️service indeed. I was served by a young lady whom was so patience as I waited for my friend, (12h00)She kept on reassuring me that it’s okay to wait and I shouldn’t worry. (2 black ladies) She also made a comment that she didn’t know it was so relevant to me at the time. I lost my brother in December 2024, another one in 2023 totalling my lost siblings to 5! So, she said to me, ‘just relax and spend this time to enjoy yourself’ This was so profound as I had not gotten those simple words that yet meant so much to me. The Asian Floor manager was very attentive also. Thank you The Ivy Team.
