Arrived early so had a drink at the bar. Service was good. Starter, drinks, all good. Only issue was a mistake with our main course. One main arrived and had to be removed as the second main wasn't ready resulting in approx 10 minute wait. Without asking we were issued a complimentary drink. Staff member also apologised for his error. Table did feel somewhat small as they attempt to maximise the number of guests.

Having Booked for a Special occasion (My Birthday which WAS added the Booking when booked) I Felt let down at the Brighton branch, as i Have Previously used the Ivy twice in London, the one in Victoria and the other in Covent Gardens, and Both occasions were made Special By being presented with a Birthday Surprise treat at the end of my meal, The Ivy in Brighton NEVER went to that effort, if i wanted a basic birthday meal and not for it to be special i would have booked one of the lower key restaurants in Brighton, - Albeit being let down in that way which differed from the London Branches in which they went that extra mile, The Staff were very Attentive through out my evening; PHOTO`S ADDED of Birthday surprise treat From The Ivy in Victoria and Covent Gardens Both in London;

Service excellent. Requested favourite table on booking which we were able to have. Atmosphere buzzing with conversation. Enjoyed fish and chips, which was delicious followed by Raspberry and Pistachio dessert, lush! Always enjoy visiting The Ivy for its atmosphere,

The taster menu was ok maybe a bit more food would have been better, the two free drinks a very added bonus. However other friends where there so we decide to have the set menu so over all a lovely evening at the ivy. Staff are always excellent there.

We love The Ivy Brighton it’s beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere but we really didn’t feel it was good value for money this time and the menu was disappointing. No choice of good salads which both my daughter and I wanted
