Immerse yourself in the magic of the season with our Festive Set Menu. Enjoy two courses for £55 or three for £60 and delight in our show-stopping festive dishes, selection of fine wines and seasonal cocktails. Tables of 7+ must book our Group Festive Set Menu experience. Guests dining on our Festive set menu can choose between two or three courses for lunch, available from 11:30am - 6:30pm. This is a large restaurant but with well separated tables and good layout. The breakfast menu is good. The following pointers though: 1. The coffee pot is way too small and very small amount of cream provided. 2. The sourdough toast is too thin at around 0.5cm. 3. Service was OK but staff did not seem too happy to be there and it was all a little unexciting. 4. Why do i have to ask for sugar and cream with my coffee - you should leave on table?

At the same time We're sorry to hear that the waiting staff wasn't friendly and seemed unhappy. It's also disappointing to know that the coffee pot and cream were too small. Poor service and lack of knowledge; options were not understood. While this could be forgiven, it’s unacceptable when more training is clearly required and a 13.5% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

We love The Ivy this visit didn't disappoint- lovely staff and delicious food especially the peanut chicken starter and the duck salad
