    Paying for the experience. Average food not worth the money considering the many similar establishments in the area serving better quality food.

    My friend and I went to the Ivy for our Christmas meal as we have heard a lot of good things. The food was lovely but the service we received was not good as we had to wait a long time to order food/drinks, we had to ask for our plates to be lifted and then had to chase a drink order. For the amount of money you’re having to pay, I believe the service needs to be bad and I won’t be returning.

    Fantastic hospitality from the moment you walk in. Surroundings beautiful and comfortable all staff very pleasant but not overbearing which is very good. Food Fantastic and great value no problem accommodating my 10 yr old granddaughter will definitely be back. Was a birthday breakfast from my daughter. I will always remember. Thank You

    Service was poor. We waited nearly one hour for our food. The black pudding was as hard as a rock. We were constantly trying to get the waiter’s attention. After he served our breakfast he never came back to enquire how was our food. We did complain to the sub manager about the delays who seemed indifferent to our complaint. She offered us some discount in the form of a refund for our two pots of tea £7.90. They still applied the discretionary 12.5% service charge. We feel they should have had the discretion to wave that fee but they didn’t.
