The Ivory Peacock is a beautifully designed cocktail bar and restaurant located in the heart of Manhattan, steps from Madison Square Park.

Designed with inspiration from some of the finest cocktail bars in London, The Ivory Peacock transports you to another world as you sip one of the extensive house cocktails or celebrated Gin & Tonics. Home to the largest collection of Gin in the United States (900++) , we feature a diverse array of exotic gins from almost every country in the world.

Our 17 seat Emerald Bar offers a special vantage point into the extensive gin collection and is available for reservation. Our speakeasy Lounge, Ploume Bar, is open Wednesday thru Saturday from 5pm. Our Main Bar is available on first come, first serve.

Executive Chef Grayson Altenberg offers a delightful all-day menu centered around a French/Japanese flair with many easy to share dishes, ideal for family style and large parties.

We had a good experience but the red wine was not good. Also waitress seemed very “short” with us. We asked if we could order more drinks & she said: “yeah. What do you want.” In a very rude tone. It was bizarre. We ended up deciding to get the check & go elsewhere because of this.

What a find! I went there for their lunch special, which is great. While the portions are small, for $14.95 in Manhattan at this time is the deal of the century, considering the GREAT ambiance, food and service! Everyone there was great, the food was spectacular and the landmark place is a STUNNER. This is an amazing bar/restaurant and I'll be going back for sure.

My assessment may not be the most reliable as we didn’t have a chance to actually eat here. We made a reservation (selecting seating in the main dining room) on Open Table about 15 mins prior to arriving. The app had shown a wide open availability but when we arrived they weren’t able to accommodate. The host offered dining in the downstairs “Speakeasy” but the tables were only 16-24 inches from the ground and not conducive for actual dining. When I mentioned this to her she responded with “Oh, you wanted to eat?”. Well, yes, hence the reservation. The manager (who I assumed is a manager) was remarkably friendly and professional and apologetic mentioning that Open Table has been messing up things for them lately (I believe it based on how busy it was and how many so-called openings the app showed). My boyfriend and I decided to at least grab a drink at the bar and the manager offered to pay for the drinks and sent over a shot for us. I would recommend this place on a quieter night for a date night but the service we received in the short amount of time we were there was friendly and appreciated.

We were guided down past the club to the little mini bar so we could have a lovely long catch up after 30yrs! Thank you so much!!
