The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

Food was excellent, atmosphere was elegant but inviting. Very beautifully designed. Service at lunch was slow and our server forgot to bring drinks and refills a few times. We had to flag him down a couple of times to get things we needed. Aside from that, we’d recommend!

I think there is potential here but we weren’t impressed overall. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server was nice but didn’t come around nearly enough. the decor is cheesy and not upscale. sent back my pasta bolognese. dry meatballs and just wasn’t good. lobster risotto was good. Eggplant gnocchi was not great. Lasagna was good. Cocktails were very good though.

Service was slower than usual. Waited 20 minutes to get a diet coke refill, had to ask 3 different people for it. Food and atmosphere were great.

Great food and atmosphere. My only negative comment is that the restaurant is noisy. Definitely going back!

The place was amazing for the space they have, what an incredible job at creating ambience! Chef Joey did it right lol. The service by Brian was exceptional! The food was very good, loved the Fritto misto And my good was good but needed some spice, we had chicken parmesan and lobster ravioli... The experience was so positive, I can't go on enough about our service and Brian(Bryan) don't know, sorry:. Loved it and we will be back, made our five year anniversary very memorable!

I don’t know where to begin. The restaurant is like a well oiled machine. Reservation for 5 at table 24. Food was outstanding. Scenery is beautiful and music was lovely. A huge shout out to Michael, Chris and Justin for making our night complete. We will see you soon. I promise. Dawn P Scottsdale
