The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    Delicious food and attentive service!! Can’t go wrong with short rib on top of creamy polenta. The linguini and clams were also delicious as was the caesar salad. We ended our meal with scrumptious tiramisu, spumoni cake and fresh pressed Italian coffee. We will definitely be back.

    If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, this place is a must. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional evening. The staff was incredibly attentive—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Every dish was a standout, The cocktails were a 10!! The ambiance elegant, making it ideal for both date nights and special gatherings. A true gem—can’t wait to come back!

    We really enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, we could barely hear our table mates once the piano started—and we were struggling before that to converse over the din. The pasta was homemade and perfectly al dente. The desserts were amazing. We would return perhaps if we could get a quieter table far away from the piano.

    The Italiano was good but I felt somewhat average. Our server was attentive, informative and friendly. It can get loud due to live piano playing. There wasn’t anything bad to report but I don’t think I would go back unless I happen to be in the area.

    The food was delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. It’s a little loud and it was hard to talk to the group we brought. The server was nice and attentive. The problem I had was that is was a 2hr 15min meal. Our reservation was at 5PM on a Sunday. It got busy after we had been there for about an hour. It took way too long. The people behind our table came in after us and left before us. We waited 15 mins to get the check and then had to wait for it to be processed

    First time dining. Arina our server was very attentive. Eddie the manager sat down and had a chat with us. All the staff we came in contact with couldn't help us enough. While we waited outside for our table to be ready a staff member even brought us complimentary Prosecco. All of these things made us feel appreciated. Most importantly the food was delicious.
